HAMLET II: BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL

written by Sam Bobrick

November 10-12, 7pm

Student Theater at Agganis Arena $7

Boston University Shakespeare Society presents Hamlet II: Better Than the Original, a comedy written by Sam Bobrick. Join us as we explore William Shakespeare's Hamlet through this funny adaptation that has a happier ending (well...kind of).

Hamlet, a moody and bitter 30-year-old teenager, tries to avenge the ghost of his father by killing his stepfather (and uncle) King Claudius. Throw in a promiscuous Ophelia, frat boys who can't get it right, and a lusty cougar mom, it's all the same characters you remember reading about in high school, but with new and interesting twists.
